1/30 Outfit Challange

I’m sure many of you are familiar with the lovely Kendi’s 30 for 30 challenge.  I wanted to come up with a challenge of my own and slightly modified her challenge (I’m sure she won’t mind!).

I am taking ONE item and going to attempt to style it 30 ways.  The idea is 30 outfits, not 30 days.  This will be quite a tricky one and I’m sure I’ll come up with some weird outfits, (no one said weird outfits don’t count!).

The item I’m using will be this skull dress. Now,  I know I don’t seem to be the kind of person who would own something like this, but I do! I love skulls. This might come as a surprise to my regular readers (or blog buddies as I like to call you). It also came as a surprise to a close friend of mine when I told her about this challenge. So it turns out even people that know me really well wouldn’t say I own a skull covered dress, which I find strange because I do (and a few other items).  I stopped wearing this dress because a friend once asked me if I bought it as part of a Halloween costume. She wasn’t being mean, she was actually being quite genuine and she felt just as embarrassed as I did when I said that I bought it because I liked it.  It is a dress, but it is way to short for my liking. So hopefully after this challenge I’ll find some new ways to wear it, and I’ll end up dressing a bit more like ‘me’.
